One of our most popular treatments is tear trough. The treatment involves volume-restoring filler under the eyes. With aging, volume loss often occurs in the area under the eyes, which can be characterized by dark circles and hollowness. With the help of filler, the volume loss can be restored. We use a unique technique developed by Dr. Rebecka Gardell and each treatment is adapted and tailored to the patient's anatomical conditions.

At our clinic, we have chosen to divide the tear trough treatment into two sessions, two weeks apart for the best possible results. This is because it can often be difficult to determine exactly what amount is appropriate already at the first visit. Before your treatment, we will tell you whether you are a suitable candidate for the treatment or not, and what it may mean to be a “worse candidate”. This can sometimes mean that you are recommended to choose another treatment, such as surgery or laser. Sometimes you can choose to do an “advanced midface” treatment instead of tear trough. In this case, the area between the tear trough and the midface is treated instead. In some cases, you choose to try to do tear trough even if you are not the best candidate, in which case you usually experience an improvement even if it does not result in a perfectly smooth result.

If you are over 40 years old, there may be a slightly greater risk of tear trough and that you may have a tendency to collect fluid around the eyes after a tear trough treatment. This risk is not high, but if you are over 40 years old it is about 10-15%. Some people choose to try the treatment anyway. If you have problems with fluid accumulation after filler under the eyes, it will disappear if you dissolve the filler with hyalase.

If you have treated the area before and the filler has migrated and become misplaced over time, it may need to be removed first before treating the area again. If you are unsure whether you need to remove old filler first, we recommend a consultation before booking your treatment. Cannula is always used for safety reasons and optimal results, all our therapists use the same technique.

Lip fillers are one of our most popular treatments and are used not only to increase volume but also to sculpt the lips by smoothing out asymmetries, lifting and shaping the cupid's bow. You and your therapist will together choose the technique that best suits your lip shape, your conditions based on previous lip filler placement, migration and your desired result.

We use different methods such as combined technique (cannula in the lip and stacking technique in the cupid's bow), triple combined technique (filler behind the muscle with cannula, filler in the lip with cannula and stacking technique in the cupid's bow), advanced lip reshaping (filler with cannula behind and in front of the muscle in an advanced way to change the shape of the lip), flip out the sides technique (filler behind and in front of the muscle to bring out the sides), Julie Horne technique (sharp needle with stacking technique according to a special pattern). We never use more than 0.5-1 ml per time because we always strive for natural results.

If you have old filler that has migrated, you may need to dissolve the old filler first to make the result as natural as possible.

Nose filler treatment is a non-surgical procedure where filler is injected to change the shape of the nose. The nose is considered a high-risk area for sharp needle fillers. We never use sharp needles, only blunt cannulas, and a special technique where we inject small micro-drops in different places. Blunt cannula technique makes the treatment much safer in the event of vascular occlusion than treatments with sharp needles and larger amounts of filler.

There are several ways to change the shape of the nose with filler, for example by making the nose straighter from the profile, straighter from the front (in the case of a slanted or C-shaped nose bridge), reinforcing or changing the shape of the tip, lifting the tip, adjusting irregularities, changing the shape of the nostrils and wings of the nose, to name a few. If you have undergone rhinoplasty, there are limited possibilities to reshape the nose due to scar tissue. We always use a blunt cannula for safety reasons as previously mentioned, but also to reduce the risk of bruising and swelling.

Here the cheekbones are treated with fillers, the purpose of the treatment can either be to sculpt the area or to rejuvenate. The treatment is performed with a blunt cannula for safety reasons, this method also means reduced pain and a reduced risk of bruising.

A youthful face is characterized by a V-shaped face with most of the volume in the upper part of the face. As we age, we lose volume in both fat and bone in the face, especially in the upper part. By injecting filler in the midface, you can restore lost volume to the cheeks and give a lift in the middle of the face with a natural result as filler in the midface is a “restorative” treatment rather than a changing treatment.

In many cases, we combine midface and tear trough, or we do an “advanced midface”, which means that you work with both the midface and the border area between the midface and tear trough (often works well in cases where you are not a suitable candidate for tear trough).

With fillers, we can build volume on a weak chin or reshape an asymmetrical chin to create a more defined chin area or a more balanced profile. This treatment can also help reduce the visibility of a double chin from the front or round out an overly angular chin.

When we treat men, we have a different strategy, where we like to enhance the angular shape of the chin and create more width.

We use advanced techniques when building a chin. A cannula is always used, partly for safety reasons but also to be able to achieve precise placement of filler for a natural result.

When we say nasolabial folds, we are referring to the deep creases that run from the side of the nose down to the corners of the mouth. These lines are a normal part of the anatomy, but over time they become deeper and more noticeable due to changes in volume, both locally and in the upper part of the face. The folds can also be more visible if the fat pad above them changes shape and enlarges.

Nasolabial folds can often be easily corrected by injecting fillers to restore the volume loss and effectively fill out the fold, resulting in a more youthful appearance. We use advanced cannula techniques for a natural result. Some recommend other treatments than fillers in the nasolabial folds, for example if nasolabial folds occur mainly due to volume loss in the midface. If the problem is mainly due to large and hanging nasolabial fat pads, you may want to start by treating them. Your therapist will recommend the treatment that will suit you best.

The jawline can lose definition due to aging or other volume changes in the face, but by injecting fillers we can sculpt the jawline, restore volume, improve shape and add more definition, which in turn gives a more balanced profile. Injections to the jawline can help both men and women create a contoured jawline that frames the face for a more masculine or feminine shape.

We often recommend choosing Radiesse filler in this area as this type of filler gives a sharper result with a smaller amount, and you often avoid the risk of widening the face too much from the front.

The temples are an area of the face where volume naturally decreases with age, which can give the impression of a more hollow or tired appearance. Filler treatments in the temples are an effective and gentle method to restore volume and provide a more youthful, balanced facial profile. By using a cannula instead of a traditional needle, the treatment can be performed with greater precision and minimal discomfort.

The term "C-shaped filler" refers to a specific technique we use to treat areas above, behind, and beneath the cheekbone. This approach helps to frame the cheekbone and restore lost volume, creating a soft, natural widening effect in the upper part of the face. The result is a more balanced appearance, without any harsh angles or protrusions. By enhancing the upper face in this way, the lower part of the face appears slimmer, resulting in a V-shaped, rejuvenated look that still feels completely natural.
